resident of rainforests.
It is most numerous around forest edges, where
shrubby pioneer trees provide reliable food sources.
It eats mainly small fruits, of plants including
Bleeding Heart, Celerywood and Wild Tobacco.
The name cuckoo-dove refers to the elegant,
long-tailed shape of this and related species.
